Multicoloured marble wishpot, affirmation pendant for necklace or ornament
This multi-coloured wishpot is handmade from polymer clay. The body of the wishpot has marbled stripes in many different colours including mint green, peachy orange and royal blue. There are even flecks of gold coloured metal leaf. The lip of the wishpot and pointed stopper bead are dark copper with a green shimmer. You will receive one of the wishpots pictured (randomly selected).
I created my first wishpot when my daughter was born and we were planning a family gathering to welcome her. Everyone spoke a wish for her future and I sealed the lid closed. Since then they have evolved into these everyday wishpots that can be opened and closed and are perfect for daily affirmations or the start of significant new beginnings such as weddings. (If you are planning to use your wishpot for more permanent good wishes such as welcoming a new baby to the family, you can seal the lid with a little super glue. In this case I recommend writing down your messages in a special book for future reference.).
It comes snuggled up in a recycled paper box with a little scroll rolled up with the following text on it:
“This is a wishpot. The idea is to use it as a focus for your own empowerment and gratitude. It can be worn as a pendant or stand alone as an ornament. To use it: open by pulling the bead lid upwards. Speak your affirmation or imagine your intended circumstance and blow into the open wishpot to add your wish. Close it by pulling the thread on the side (the one that’s shorter when open). When your wish is complete, open the wishpot to release it and say “thank you” as it goes.”
Findings & Size
This wishpot is approximately 3.6cm (1-7/16") tall including the stopper bead and 2.1cm (13/16") in diameter around the widest part. The cord bail and beaded threads are in addition to these measurements.
You can add an optional 18" sterling silver chain necklace to make a complete gift.
Please note: I like to reuse packaging where possible so the tissue paper and ribbon tying the scroll may vary in colour.
